Up next in our series of Meet the Team blogs is Zach Stagers, Senior Consultant.
What is your role and what does it involve?
I’m a Senior Data Analytics Consultant, and my role is extremely diverse. My role sees me being regularly involved with pre-sales and proposals, requirements discoveries, technical delivery, and more.
You’ve been at Adatis for just over 3 years, what kind of changes have you seen in the business during that time?
Lots has changed – we’ve developed the business consulting and managed service arms of the business, the technologies used on projects have shifted enormously from predominantly being on-premises to Azure, and I’ve been incredibly impressed with how well everyone in our company has adapted to remote working.
What have you enjoyed about working at Adatis so far?
The people, the culture, the diverse projects, the away days, and the support I’ve had from across the business in helping me grow.
What advice would you give to a budding Data Consultant?
Put your hand up and get involved with as much as you can. There’s learning in every aspect of this job that will help you further down the line.
What is the best company social you have attended and why?
The Melnik, Bulgaria away day was so memorable for so many reasons. Had some amazing meals, did some great activities, and had a lot of laughs.
What’s your ideal way to spend the weekend?
I really enjoy watching and playing football and other sports, although there’s much more watching than playing these days! I’m a big Manchester United fan and used to play in goal – Peter Schmeichel was my hero as a child! I also play the odd video and board game, spend time cooking, and I live near the sea, so I try to make as much use of that as I can.
Something on your bucket list?
It would be amazing to visit every continent.
If you could eat only one kind of food for the rest of your life, what would it be?
This is the impossible question – I absolutely love food, but I’m going to go for Mexican…
We hope you got to know Zach a bit better throughout this blog! Check out our other Meet the Team blogs below:
