Milton Keynes University Hospital has implemented Microsoft Azure data and analytics tools in partnership with Adatis. The data modernisation project has replaced a set of ageing data tools that were about to reach the end of life. In addition, Milton Keynes University Hospital can now support mobile data access and prepare the NHS trust for next-generation data technologies the organisation plans to adopt.

With no visibility of contract data and contracts fragmented across different departments, there was no easy way for this Central Government Department to match expenditure to contracts or to monitor supplier performance and risk. They knew they were missing opportunities to forecast and manage spending to deliver better value to the taxpayer.
Adatis worked to understand their objectives such as visibility of all contracts with a view to driving cost savings, reducing supplier risk and ensuring compliance with sourcing policy and implemented a Modern Cloud Data Warehouse with powerful self-service data visualisation using Power BI.
Siloed data meant King’s was unable to get a clear picture of its operations for strategic planning. As part of a wider digital transformation, it has worked with Adatis to implement a pan-university data lake and analytics platform in Azure – creating a sustainable foundation for predictive analytics and evidence-based decision-making
A third-party insurance broker couldn’t get the granular insight it needed to target sales and marketing campaigns effectively. They needed detailed geospatial and demographic insights to know where to target campaigns. Adatis showed that Power BI was capable of delivering the required insights.
The company can now get access to powerful, self-service data visualisation and reporting.
This online fashion retailer had been operating an on-premises data warehouse, but as the company has grown so has the amount of data it generates and the on-prem data warehouse was reaching its limits for data storage and for speed of executing queries. A strategic move to Azure was already underway and Adatis worked with the retailer to provide tools for Azure SQL Data Warehouse that enable the retailer’s developers to get datasets ready for analysis in a matter of days.

A large entertainment group were rolling out a new global financial operating model. With help from Adatis, the group now have the ability to accurately report on purchasing and revenue, utilising data fed in form over 20 source systems, enabling them to improve their customer experience.
