Today in our meet the team blog series, we’re introducing you to Richard. Richard is a Senior Agile Project Manager and has been part of the Adatis team for three years!
1. What is your role, and what does it involve?
I’m a Senior Agile Project Manager at Adatis and usually lead 2-3 projects at a time. My role involves ensuring the successful delivery of projects; from initiation and delivery through to Managed Services and beyond. On a day-to-day basis I build strong relationships with clients, ensure our projects follow the Scrum process and manage all project management areas such as budgets, risks, timelines and resourcing. The most important parts of my role are to look after everyone on my team and make sure our projects exceed client expectations.
2. What kind of person is going to be successful at Adatis?
Curious to learn, ability to work hard & play hard, helps others to achieve their goals and realise there’s always room to improve and help us on that journey

3. What is your favourite thing about working at Adatis
Definitely the culture! After 3 years at Adatis I have no hesitation to say we are a people-first company and look after each individual – professionally and personally. I also like that you are trusted in your role without anyone telling you how to do things.
4. What training have you received in your time at Adatis?
Various Prince2 and Risk Management training, BCS Agile Project Management, presentation training, plenty of internal technical training on our frameworks and also working towards Microsoft Certifications
5. What is your favourite way to spend the weekend?
Switching off from work, spending time with my kids on a day trip to the beach or exploring London
6. If you could only eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Hands down Malaysia Butter Chicken (specifically from Batu Ferringhi night market!)
7. What is your dream holiday destination?
The Maldives, but my favourite place are the Greek Islands
8. What is your favourite TV show/film?
TV show – Grand Tour, film – the Bourne films
